Terms of Service

Using ThinkEconomics

ThinkEconomics (thinkeconomics.co.uk) is operated by Ryan Hughes as a sole trader. By creating an account or using the site, you agree to these terms. If you're under 18, you confirm you have your parent, guardian, or school's permission to use the site.

Accounts

  • You're responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity on your account.
  • Teachers creating accounts on behalf of students are responsible for the accuracy of that data and for removing accounts that are no longer needed (e.g. a student who has left the school) - see our Privacy Policy for how this works.
  • We may suspend or remove an account that's used to abuse the service, attempt to access data that isn't yours, or breach these terms.

Free and paid features

Core features (creating an account, practising quizzes, and for teachers, setting up classes, assigning work, and marking) are free. Some deeper analytics and additional quiz content require a paid school subscription. Subscriptions are currently arranged directly with us (not an automated online checkout) and invoiced to the school - contact us to enquire. We'll agree pricing, seat numbers, and the subscription term with you directly before any invoice is raised.

Content and copyright

Some questions on the site are drawn from or based on past papers published by UK exam boards (AQA, Edexcel, OCR, WJEC, Eduqas and others), used here for educational study purposes. Exam board names are used to describe which specification content relates to, and doesn't imply any endorsement by that exam board. Other content on the site is our own and shouldn't be copied or redistributed without permission.

Service availability

We do our best to keep the site running reliably, but we don't guarantee it will always be available or error-free, and we're not liable for any loss arising from downtime or technical issues. We may update or change features of the site over time.

Liability

ThinkEconomics is provided as a study and teaching aid. We don't guarantee any particular exam result or outcome from using it, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, we're not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site.

Ending your account

You can ask us to close your account and delete your data at any time by emailing support@thinkeconomics.co.uk. We may also close an account that breaches these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent version.
