Student Guide
A step-by-step walkthrough for students - from creating an account to using your own progress analytics.
1. Create your account
Head to Create Account and sign up as a student - it's free, forever, with no catch. You don't need a class or a teacher's invite to get started; you can practise straight away.

2. Try a quiz without even logging in
You can actually try a quiz before creating an account at all - browse MCQs and pick anything marked "public." If you take one as a guest, you'll be offered the chance to create an account afterwards to save that result - and if you already have an account but forgot to log in, there's a link to log in instead so nothing's lost.

3. Your Dashboard
Once logged in, your Dashboard is home base. You'll see a summary of your recent MCQ activity, any upcoming assignments from a teacher, and links to join a class, review your MCQ history, and see all your assignments in one place.

4. Practise quizzes
From MCQs, pick any topic and quiz that's unlocked for you (any logged-in account can open both public and free-tier quizzes). You'll get instant marking the moment you submit, with a full review of each question afterwards.
5. Join your teacher's class
If your teacher gives you a class join code, use "Join a Class" from your Dashboard's Student Resources section to link up - this is how assignments they set will start appearing for you, and it's entirely your own choice to do this (a teacher can't add you without your code).
6. Complete an assignment
A class assignment shows up on your Dashboard with its due date - just click through to complete it like any other quiz. Your teacher will be able to see your score and completion status in their Markbook automatically; there's nothing extra you need to submit.
7. See your own topic performance
Your Dashboard shows a running "topics assessed" teaser that links through to a full per-topic breakdown - which topics you're strongest and weakest on, and a suggested next quiz to work on. If your account was created by a teacher (rather than you signing up yourself) this deeper breakdown may show as locked until your teacher's school has you set up with full access - self-registered students like the ones following this guide always get it for free.
